A Technological and Human Heritage To Be Cherished

The development of industrial telecommunications in Italy and around the world: Sirti has always been there, from the very first long distance connection. 

The history of this leading Company has been a long and exciting, even if at times dramatic, journey  that is attested by an enormous collection of pictures portraying all faces, places and feelings of those who experienced personally as actors or spectators all these changes.

These pictures, together with the wide number of old equipments and instruments collected by the Company over the years into the “Sirti Museum of Telecommunications” (today given up at the University of Pavia to be merged in the new Museum of Electrical Technology) are "our roots". They depict the dedication and self-sacrifice of all those who have been and still are protagonists of this extraordinary adventure from Sirti foundation till today, proud for what the Company has achieved and ready to enthusiastically tackle future challenges.
